The Colormetrics P4100 all-in-One POS system convinces with its sleek design and flexibility at the POS. There are four different interface configurations available, which you may exchange later on. The standard version of the system includes: 5x USB 2.0, 1x USB 3.0, 1x PoweredUSB, 4x RS-232 via RJ45 connectors, 1x Ethernet, 1x 12V cash drawer port via RJ11 and 1x VGA for an additional monitor. Other available interfaces include a 24V PoweredUSB, 1x RS-232 via RJ45 and 1x LPT. Colormetrics also offers a variety of accessories, including a magnetic stripe reader, a VFD display with 2x 20 characters, an 8'' or 15'' customer display, various barcode scanners, a waiter’s lock and a Mifare RFID reader.
When it comes to the hardware specifications, Colormetrics relies on quality. The system is powered by an Intel Celeron J1900 Quad Core 2.0 GHz processor and also features 4 GB of 1333 MHz clocked DDR3 SO-DIMM memory, which you may expand up to 8 GB. The 15'' LCD has a resolution of 1,024 x 768 pixels and a brightness of 350 nits, to provide pinpoint sharp images, even in difficult lighting conditions. Depending on the future application area and software used, you have your choice between 5-wire resistive or projected capacitive touch. Despite the robust aluminium housing, the Colormetrics P4100 weighs just around 6.6 kg. The hardware is completely integrated into the panel, so that the stand is removable, for allowing the system to be mounted to a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount. Additionally, it may also be combined with the practical Smart Stand from Glancetron.
For the P4100 Windows Embedded Standard 7, Windows POSReady 7, Windows Embedded 8.1 and Linux Industry are available as operating systems. In order to make the POS system even more fail-safe, Colormetrics offers an optional UPS, so that in the event a power outage no customer data is lost.
